INFORMATION

One of the first comments made to new students, at a welcome introduction at National Art School, was a claim that in five to ten years from graduation, only 3% of the people sitting patiently in the crowded hall would still be ‘practicing artists’.

It would be an easy bet to make that more than 3% of the students in the welcome introduction believed that they would be part of this exclusive crowd. More than ten years since graduating in 2006, a select group of the graduates of the National Art School seek to reconnect and reflect on the evolution of their varied practices, and to celebrate their continued commitment to their art practice.
