INFORMATION

The works in this exhibition focus on escapism, the joy associated with being among nature, and the detrimental effects (aesthetic and social) of urbanisation. The works are diverse with a common evocation of a romantic response to nature and rural life, as well as a reinvention of late 1800s Arcadian themes in painting.

Jenn Murray is a painter. She was awarded a Masters in Fine Art research degree in 2015 by Monash University and has travelled extensively undertaking residency programs as well as furthering her training in both the United Kingdom and Austria. Her favourite colour is green.
