INFORMATION

Confluence showcases new work by 21 artists brought together in the University of New South Wales Art and Design’s Consolidated Studio course. This final core course bridges the life of a student with that of a creator in Australia’s wider arts ecology.

We range in age, skills, and cultural background, and work across all mediums, from traditional painting, drawing and sculpture to time based and digital methodologies.  Our research and experimentation has resulted in a diverse range of new works made with the group context in mind.

It's been an exciting process of risk taking, co-operation and collaboration - a Confluence which represents who we are now, jointly and severally, and who we have the potential to be.  It proves Kurt Koffka’s adage that ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.’

We’d love you to join us.
