'Dron Top Down Under' is an exhibition that uses drone technology to capture 100% vertical point of view known as “Top Down”.

INFORMATION

An aerobatic for the last 20 years, I have often enjoyed the patterns and sight of the landscape as seen from above. The introduction of high quality camera equipped drones at reasonable prices has made capturing fantastic images from the air possible for everyone. For my drone photography I have been building up images that conform to the 100% vertical point of view known as “Top Down” with strong geometric patterns where possible. The hunt for the perfect aerial images has driven me to travel to remote Western Australia, The Eastern Australian seaboard, and large parts of remote Western New South Wales. I will be traveling central Australia this June/July and hope to add to this body of work.
