These mesmerising transparent glass structures create narrative with powerful imagery.
Speed Farzam's work, In Her Shoes, is made of a pair of shoes covered by thread and embroidered cloth. By using embroidered fabric as a material, Farzam plays with the traditional definition of women’s handcrafts and modifies the construction of its representation. Its emphasis is on gender identity and the body.
