The Moshcam Photography Awards recognizes excellence in live rock n’ roll photography. The live music photographer is often unseen, uncredited and unacknowledged - but every night these dedicated artists carry thousands of dollars worth of photographic equipment into chaotic environments in the pursuit of capturing an iconic image that defines a performance. For 12 months we ran a weekly competition with hundreds of music photographers submitting thousands of images for consideration. From out of the dark, crowded, sticky photo pits, mosh pits and sound desks of the pubs, clubs, theatres and stadiums around the country, these images were the best of the best.
