“Women and Mothers, are still considered inferior, insignificant, of less value to ‘the system’ - even though we remain L’Origins du Monde.”
Nature Morte is a collection of thoughts materialised and accumulated over time, within a domestic setting, created by a new Mother who was time poor, financially & geographically limited, sleep deprived and isolated. Themes of the body, domesticity, sexuality, nature, consumerism and the subconscious are explored. This body of work concludes with a new film, Stormy Seas with Pink. The flicker of Pink, symbol of Woman, tossed over and over, day in and day out, without reprieve.
