As we change what we are internally, our outside world symbiotically shifts to reflect this change.

INFORMATION

POWER SHIFT is about exploring the transformation of internal energy and life itself as we intentionally move from one state of being to another. This exhibition explores the concept that as we change what we are internally, our outside world also shifts to reflect this change. The artworks are about the inter-connectivity of our inner-selves with the metaphysical energy that creates and is woven into all of life. Each piece subjectively explores energy as it is expressed and manifested, and plays with the idea that our minds are constantly creating our next idea of self into a tangible form.

This exhibition specifically explores Jennifer's personal experience as an artist, and how her life is transforming constantly as she is coming into a new version of herself. The combination of grid-work, swirls and definable forms all represent the building blocks of mental thought and creative spirit allowing new ideas to shift and reform in life. The abstract artworks explore the concept of pure energy and energetic grid-work filling up with the right intention. Each artwork explores both a collapsing of past self and an emerging of present self in the same instance, and expresses that this transition is a symbiotic relationship and part of the same process.

The artworks are aimed at inspiring and uplifting the viewer and the environment within which they reside, and are active artworks with the intention of emanating light-energy into their environments to bring a sense of peace, revitalisation and fulfilment to the viewer as well as a sense of contemplation about their own life and choices and reflections within themselves.

The artworks come from within, and from what Jennifer is visualising and affirming at the time. They are tangible manifestations of a better self, and of a more fulfilling life in both her inner and outer world.

Bio:

Sarah Jennifer lives in Sydney, Australia, and studies Fine Arts (Hons) at UNSW Art & Design in Paddington. She has participated in RAW Artists, and this will be her first solo show. As a practicing artist she is currently focused on energy and inner being and how this is translated into physical form and reality. Each artwork is a statement of vibration and energy, and is subjective by nature. Jennifer's aim is to bring the viewer to a harmonious state with life and their inner selves.
