INFORMATION

‘Summer Sorrows’ is the second show in a quartet of exhibitions to be held at Gaffa Gallery, each focusing on a different season.

The exhibition takes inspiration from the subconscious association of the seasons with moods. Seasonal Affective Disorder.

The melancholy of summer lies in stark contrast to the expectations of the weather and the idea of a ‘sunny’ day. An attempt to subvert the usual clichés of beach holidays, etc…

Andrew Ensor is a Sydney based artist who has exhibited at Gaffa Gallery on a regular basis since 2009.
