who could captivate across boundaries of time, 
How are you my Beauty, today?"


This body of work, expresses the artist's wish to imagine Ancient Chinese women in context 
of the contemporary. Viewing each woman's history not as a burden but rather informing her 
styling in her "court portrait"; the artist wonders if the notion of womanhood is the same, and 
what that is ever-changing are its nuances. 'Will women, be women; and what is the role of 
her image?'
