‘Tomorrow’s Makers’ showcases the work of St Andrew’s Cathedral School students in Year 9 & 10 who are currently undertaking Design and Art elective courses in Visual Arts, Photographic and Digital Media, Textiles, Design & Technology, Timber, Engineering and Information and Software Technology. The works on display were completed in 2017 and 2018.

The St Andrew’s Cathedral School Design & ArtDepartment invites you to an exhibition of excellence, highlighting the work of Year 9 and 10 students in our Stage 5 electives including Visual Arts, Photographic and Digital Media, Textiles, Design & Technology, Timber, Engineering and Information and Software Technology from 2017 and 2018.

 

This exhibition aims to celebrate selected students excellent achievements, with artworks ranging from contrasting portraits, wrapped sculptures and emotive films, alongside design projects such as flatpack objects, cultural quilts, hydraulic machines and furniture designs.

 

Through immersion in the creative process involving inquiry, investigation, skill development, creative thinking and reflection, the Design & Art Department of St Andrew’s Cathedral School aims to develop both the material and conceptual practices of our students as artists and designers.
