This collection of work explores the vessel and the notion of how an ecosystem can be interdependent of each other.

INFORMATION

Artist Statement/Bio

I am interested in biological formations ranging from molecular and microscopic and natural ephemera.
Biome explores marine life and in particular coral and algae forms and textures. This collection of work explores the vessel and the notion of how an ecosystem can be interdependent of each other. The works serve as functional or aesthetic with some providing a place for storage or display of another object.

Since 2019, I have been exploring the medium of ceramics. I incorporate techniques and aesthetics such as wabi sabi, sgraffito and hand building to create my work.
