Lots of Feelings attempts to communicate the ups and downs of moods caused by mental illness and external factors in a playful and light hearted way.

INFORMATION

Adelaide raised and Sydney Based artist Florentina Pergoleto is a graduate of the National Art School, Sydney. Her work spans; ceramics, painting, performance, video and drawing. Unapologetically herself, her work touches on issues around mental health, nudity and the female body. Pergoleto aims to communicate her world view. Her artwork is deceptively childlike and betrays her unashamed innocence.

'They're' explores the romantic feelings of a new spark with someone. The unfinished sentence beginning with "they're..." implies uncertainty and the unknown , both relating to who the person is and where the relationship will go.

':(' painted while in a depressive state with the aim to visually show how it felt. It accidentally turned out too vibrant and happy, so I painted a sad face on it.
