The world is moving faster and faster, at times too fast. Let us stop and look at people around us.

INFORMATION

Christoph focuses in his exhibition on people, in different locations and everyday situations.

By applying a minimalistic and monochrome approach, Christoph’s aims to slow things down and give us time and space to see and imagine what people were experiencing at the time the image was taken.

By removing colour, Christoph is removing elements that could distract viewers from this subject.

To help focus their attention, Christoph also uses the technique of minimalism. Lines, contrast and repetition are employed to increase the impact.

Christoph Mueller is a Sydney based amateur photographer. He was introduced to photography in his teens. Photography has been part of his life ever since. Retirement from his work in IT allowed him to spend more time on photography. This led to his first solo exhibition in 2014 as part of HeadOn. Further solo and group exhibitions followed.

"Minimalismis not a lack of something.
It’s simply the perfect amount of something.”
